macOS blocks apps from unidentified developers on first launch. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click "Open Anyway" next to ShowPrompt. You only need to do this once.
Click "More info" then "Run anyway". ShowPrompt is safe — it isn't yet code-signed with a commercial certificate. This will be resolved in a future update.
Refresh the browser on the output device. Check ShowPrompt is still running on the controller. Make sure both devices are on the same network. If on a corporate or managed network, client isolation may be blocking device communication — try a personal hotspot.
On Windows, check that Windows Firewall has allowed ShowPrompt (it prompts on first run — click Allow). On both platforms, check all devices are on the same WiFi network. Wired and wireless devices on the same router should work.
Enter the key exactly as received — copy/paste is recommended. Check you have an internet connection for the first activation. If the issue persists, email support with your order number.
Close other applications using the network. Try connecting output screens via wired ethernet rather than WiFi. Check no other devices are streaming video on the same network during your show.
Email support with your licence key and we'll deactivate the old device so you can activate on the new one. We aim to respond within one business day.
