We want you to be happy with ShowPrompt. If something isn't right — whether it's a technical problem, a billing issue, or you've just changed your mind — please contact us first and we'll do our best to sort it out.
We're a small, independent product. We don't have a legal department or a bot managing refund requests. A real person reads every message and we'll always try to be fair.
This policy is governed by UK consumer law. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Our contact email for all refund matters is support@showprompt.net.
The ShowPrompt free tier costs nothing. There's no payment taken, no billing cycle, and no refund to process. Free tier users can use ShowPrompt indefinitely at no charge.
If you're on the free tier and thinking about upgrading, feel free to get in touch — we're happy to answer questions before you commit.
Under UK consumer law, you have 14 days from the date of first purchase to request a full refund — no questions asked.
One important note: if you've already activated a licence key and used the Pro or Venue features beyond basic setup, your right to cancel under the cooling-off period may not apply, as the digital content has been supplied and accessed. We'll always assess these cases fairly and use our discretion.
To request a refund under the cooling-off period, email support@showprompt.net with your order number within 14 days of purchase.
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. When you cancel, your access continues until the end of the current billing period — you won't be charged again after that.
We don't offer pro-rata refunds for partial months on monthly plans, unless required by law or in exceptional circumstances at our discretion. If you've forgotten to cancel before a renewal, see Section 7 — we'll consider it.
Annual plans can be cancelled within 14 days of purchase or renewal for a full refund — this aligns with the standard cooling-off period.
After the 14-day window, we may offer a pro-rata refund for the remaining unused months at our discretion, particularly if there is a significant technical issue with ShowPrompt that we are unable to resolve within a reasonable timeframe.
If you're on an annual plan and something isn't working, please contact us before assuming a refund isn't possible — we'd rather fix the problem or find a fair resolution than leave you frustrated.
If ShowPrompt has a significant bug or technical failure that materially prevents you from using it, and we cannot fix it within a reasonable timeframe, we will offer a refund for the affected period.
We take these situations seriously. If you're hitting a technical wall, email support@showprompt.net with as much detail as you can — what's happening, what platform you're on, and what you've already tried. We'll get on it.
