Display screens are designed for landscape — rotate your phone or use a larger screen for the full layout.

The problem

TV presenters, event hosts and conference speakers need clear signals from the production team — how much time they have, what's coming next, and director instructions. IEM comms work for complex shows, but for simpler productions and smaller budgets, a clean visual display is faster and less intrusive.

How ShowPrompt solves it

ShowPrompt turns any screen into a presenter cue display. Time remaining, now/next, and director notes appear on a clean, high-contrast display the presenter can see from their position. The production team pushes updates from the controller in real time.

FAQ

Questions about Presenter

Can the presenter interact with their cue screen?
No — the presenter's display is read-only. All updates are pushed from the controller by the production team. This is intentional — it keeps the display simple and distraction-free.
What's the best device to use as a presenter screen?
A 10" tablet in landscape mode is ideal. A laptop on the lectern also works well. Anything with a browser and a screen size the presenter can read from their position.
Can I use it for a panel show with multiple presenters?
Yes. You can run multiple display screens simultaneously — each presenter can have their own device showing their personal timing and notes, all pushed from one controller.
Is this the same as an autocue or teleprompter?
No. ShowPrompt is a confidence monitor — it shows timing, now/next and director notes. A teleprompter scrolls a full script. ShowPrompt is for productions where the presenter speaks naturally but needs timing and production information.

Controlled from the desk

The operator runs timers, cues and the running order — the presenter only ever sees the clean cue screen.
